Dimar's Carbide Tipped Ogee Fillet Bits contain a curve, shaped somewhat like an S, consisting of two arcs that curve in opposite senses so that the ends are parallel. In architecture, the name is also used for a molding with an ogee-shaped profile, consisting (going from low to high) of a concave arc flowing into a convex arc, with vertical ends. Some slight variations of the standard ogee are also known as “wavy bits”. A “stepped ogee” is basically an ogee bit with a step-like design at the intersection of the two curves, to give it a detailed design.
