C-Type Countersinks: Used to countersink and counterbore for the heads of screws in woods, plastics, and non-ferrous materials.  

  • Made of Carbon Steel and heat-treated for long tool life.
  • Designed for use in all woods, plastics, and non- ferrous metals.
  • Held in place with 2 hex socket set screws fastened into the flutes of the drill.

E-Type Countersinks: Used to countersink and counterbore deep holes in woods, plastics, and non-ferrous materials.

  • Made of Carbon Steel and heat-treated for long tool life.
  • Designed for deep hole countersinking and counterboring in woods, plastics, and non-ferrous metals.

J-Type Countersinks: Uses a 1/4” shank to fit regular drill chucks

  • Reduces the breakage of small diameter drills.
  • All J-Type countersinks are 1-1/2” overall length with 3/4” long shanks.

K-Type Countersinks: Made of Carbon Steel (K-Type) or Stainless Steel (KS-Type) and heat-treated for long tool life.

  • All Type “K” countersinks are made of Carbon Steel
  • All Type “KS” countersinks are made of Stainless Steel
  • 3” OAL and are designed for deep countersinking.
  • Can be used with a drill jig bushing.

HSS Countersinks: High Speed Steel Countersink for Wood, Plastic & Non-Ferrous Metal

  • Designed to only sink the head of the screw flush with the surface, not to sink it deeper for plugging.
  • Made with shorter blades to reduce breakage.
  • Has a sharper relief to allow for better clearance of chips.
  • Designed for extended tool life in abrasive materials like Fiberglass.

Carbide Countersinks: Used for use in metals and abrasive materials.

  • Manufactured from Ferro-Tic® machinable carbide.
  • Best used in Fermica, Fiberglass, Particleboard and other abrasive surfaces.
