As the pilot pin retracts into the cutter during the cut it introduces lubrication to the cutting teeth and reduces heat gain in slug

The order was filled amazingly quickly especially given it was made during Christmas and Covid-19. I have only used one of 4 blades ordered to cut bowl blanks. I’m very happy with the blade. I used to order blades from Timberwolf in the USA but will now stick with online supply...
